The following defines the local-intake area of this school:

From the junction of King Road, Gladstone Road and Stanhope Road, north west and south west along Stanhope Road, across Canning Road to the north east extension of Sampson Close, south west along this extension and Sampson Close to Sampson Road, south west and south along Sampson Road to Lesmurdie Road, west along Lesmurdie Road to Fletcher Road, south along Fletcher Road to Kaolunga Way, west along Kaolunga Way to Heslop Road, south along Heslop Road to Glyde Road, west along Glyde Road to Cagney Way, south along Cagney Way to Neil Tonkin Park and continuing south through the community centre to Grove Road, east along Grove Road to Booral Street, south along Booral Street to Barwon Street, east along Barwon Street to Bulla Street, south along Bulla Street to Brigalow Way, west and south along Brigalow Way to the junction with Orangedale Road, south along the bike path from this junction to the northern end of Carob Tree Place, south along Carob Tree Place to Pomeroy Road, south across Pomeroy Road and south to the Channel 10 (TX Australia) aerial, south to Welshpool Road East, east along Welshpool Road East to Canning Road, north west along Canning Road to the locality boundary between Carmel and Walliston, generally east along this locality boundary (which follows Annetts Road, Television Road and Palmeteer Drive) to the intersection of the locality boundaries between Pickering Brook, Bickley and Carmel, north from this intersection past the eastern end of Punai Place to the locality boundary between Hacketts Gully and Bickley, generally north west along the locality boundary between Bickley and Hacketts Gully to the three-way intersection of the locality boundaries of Bickley, Hacketts Gully and Piesse Brook, west to Aldersyde Road, north along Aldersyde Road to Mundaring Weir Road, north west along Mundaring Weir Road to the locality boundary between Bickley and Kalamunda, west, south, west along this boundary to Stanhope Road, and continuing west along Stanhope Road to the intersection of King Road, Gladstone Road and Stanhope Road.

The boundary parts of Stanhope Road (both sides), Sampson Close (both sides), Sampson Road (both sides), Lesmurdie Road (both sides), Fletcher Road (both sides), Booral Street (both sides), Barwon Street (both sides), Bulla Street (both sides), Brigalow Way (both sides), Welshpool Road East (north side) and Canning Road (west side) are included within the local-intake area of this school. The boundary parts of Kaolunga Way (both sides), Heslop Road (both sides), Glyde Road (both sides), Cagney Way (both sides), Grove Road (both sides), Carob Tree Place (both sides), Annetts Road (both sides), Television Road (both sides), Palmeteer Drive (both sides), Aldersyde Road (both sides) and Mundaring Weir Road are excluded from the local-intake area of this school.

The following defines an optional area between Walliston Primary School and Lesmurdie Primary School:
From the junction of Welshpool Road East and Canning Road, south along Canning Road to the southern junction with Masonmill Road, south from this junction to Bickley Brook, west along Bickley Brook to the locality boundary between Carmel and Lesmurdie, northwest along this boundary to Alice Road, northeast along Alice Road to Mabel Road, south east along Mabel Road to Edward Road, north along Edward Road to Welshpool Road East, east along Welshpool Road East to Canning Road. The boundary parts of Canning Road (west side) and Welshpool Road East (south side) are included within this local-intake area. The boundary parts of Alice Road (both sides), Mabel Road (both sides) and Edward Road (both sides) are excluded from this local-intake area.

The following defines an optional area between Walliston Primary School and Pickering Brook Primary School:
From the intersection of Welshpool Road East and Canning Road, south east along Canning Road to the locality boundary between Pickering Brook and Carmel, generally north along the locality boundary between Carmel and Pickering Brook (and including Francais Road) to the locality boundary between Bickley and Carmel, west along the locality boundary between Bickley and Carmel (including Palmeteer Drive and Television Road), and west along the locality boundary between Carmel and Walliston (including Annetts Road) to Canning Road, south east along Canning Road to Welshpool Road East. The boundary parts of Canning Road (east and north sides), Francais Road (both sides), Palmeteer Drive (both sides), Television Road (both sides) and Annetts Road (both sides) are included within this optional area.

Note
The local-intake area maps are based on a written description of the local-intake area (LIA) for the school as published in the WA Government Gazette.  Although the map closely represents the LIA description, for some houses near the boundary (especially on street corners), it may be necessary to refer to the written description.  The street address of a residence is used to determine whether that dwelling is inside a particular LIA.  While local-intake areas for most schools do not change from year to year, changes may be made to local-intake areas as required.  Such changes are published in the WA Government Gazette and subsequently the local-intake area map will be updated.
