Gifted and Talented - Selective Academic School/Program
The Gifted and Talented program is offered for the purpose of providing gifted and talented students entering Year 7, 9, 10, and 11 in public schools access to a range of programs that meet their specific talents.
As well as the extension and enrichment work in a special program area, students follow a normal course of study in secondary schooling.
The humanities program combines studies in English and studies in Humanities and Social Sciences and links classroom learning with community participation. Active citizenship is an important part of the program.
The mathematics and science program features regular participation in national and international competitions, and these efforts have been rewarded with many trophies over the years. Each school has links to universities. The study program matches each student's interests and academic strengths. The learning environment is intellectually stimulating and rigorous.

Specialised learning programs for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
These programs cater for the needs of students from Kindergarten to Year 12 with ASD.
The programs are designed for students at significant risk of disengagement, underachievement, and/or students who exhibit very complex behaviour. The programs target age-appropriate student academic engagement and achievement.
Teaching and learning activities are aligned to the Western Australian Curriculum. Each student has a personalised plan that addresses their specific learning needs.
The programs use evidence-based teaching approaches including applied behavioural analysis, explicit teaching, and positive behaviour support.
