Grandis Primary School is a professional learning community committed to ensuring every student develops the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to thrive as confident, capable learners and active members of the community.
The school is situated on Grandis Boulevard in Banksia Grove and was built in two stages. The school includes five teaching blocks, administration area, playgrounds, undercover area, library, dental therapy centre as well as multi-purpose courts and an oval which are shared with the City of Wanneroo.
Our school works closely with the local community to establish and build positive relationships, and we are proud of our reputation as a school of choice in Banksia Grove. The school has a strong and proactive School Board and P&C. These groups provide our community with input into the direction that the school will take as we continue to grow and move forward.
Grandis Primary school has a strong focus on social and emotional learning in order to develop resilience and build positive behaviours, with students being encouraged to 'treat others as they would like to be treated' and to strive at all times to achieve their personal best. The school has a strong focus on literacy and numeracy and provides specialist programs that cover Physical Education, Health, Performing Arts and Visual Arts. Indonesian is taught to students in Years 3 - 6 through the KETAWA program.
