At Banksia Grove Primary School, our dedicated and professional staff are committed to building a connected and inclusive school community that supports the growth and development of every student. We provide a safe, enriching environment where students develop the lifelong skills, confidence, and resilience required to pursue positive and productive pathways into the future.
Our approach is underpinned by our whole-school behaviour expectations, known as STARS: Strive, Take Responsibility, Act Safely, Respect, and Support. These values guide our daily interactions and decision-making, fostering a culture of accountability, inclusion, and mutual respect.
As a Positive Behaviour Support school, we embed restorative practices and trauma-informed approaches to nurture a predictable, supportive, and engaging learning environment. This ensures that all students feel safe, valued, and connected, enabling both students and staff to perform at their best.
Banksia Grove Primary School is a modern, purpose-built Independent Public School located in Banksia Grove, north of Perth. We strategically allocate both human and material resources to areas of greatest need, ensuring improved outcomes for all students. Our strong coaching culture and commitment to collaboration support continuous improvement in teaching quality and student achievement.
Our purpose is to develop in every student the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and self-belief necessary for a balanced education within a caring and culturally responsive environment. We are committed to preparing our students to thrive as capable, confident learners in a global 21st-century context.
We maintain a strong focus on Literacy and Numeracy, supported by specialist programs in Physical Education, Science, Performing Arts, and Italian, ensuring a well-rounded and engaging curriculum.
We are proud to offer Moorditj Yarning, one of only a small number of programs in the Perth metropolitan area, delivered in partnership with Relationships Australia. This initiative supports our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to build strong cultural identity, pride, and connection to community.
Banksia Grove Primary School is also fortunate to host a purpose-built Child and Parent Centre on site. In partnership with Ngala, this centre strengthens our connection with families and the wider community, supporting children and their families from early childhood through their educational journey.
