Edgewater Primary School has been an Independent Public School since 2015. The student population are consistently over 400 students. In 2023 Edgewater Primary School celebrated its 40th year since opening.
Edgewater Primary School has a very dedicated school community.
The school is settled in the suburb of Edgewater which sits along the Yellagonga Regional Park and Lake Joondalup. The quarry on which the school is built and the bushland setting that the students play is highly valued by the students, parents and staff.

Edgewater Primary School is committed to building the capacity of the staff and giving opportunities to develop staff leaders. Edgewater Primary School is an active participant in all Joondalup Education Network initiatives, including the Future Leaders Program.
