As an independent public school, Newton Moore Senior High School provides students with a personalised, globally aware educational experience. The school, at the heart of South Bunbury, has a strong sense of community and celebrates the strengths of students through a variety of innovative programs.

At Newton Moore Senior High School, student achievement incorporates more than academic success. We focus on nurturing academic, emotional and social capabilities ensuring students are well prepared for further learning and the workforce whilst actively contributing to society.

Newton Moore Senior High School prides itself in being a Science Specialist school offering students a choice of two DOE endorsed specialist programs: Science Horizons and Engineering. We realise the importance of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) to the future careers of student and have an emphases on STEM curriculum and pathways.

MASH (Moore Academy of Sport and Health) is a high performing sport and health enrichment program offered to our students. The program nurtures the development of students in a variety of sports, teamwork, leadership, coaching, and health and wellbeing skills.

The South West Clontarf Academy and the Girls Role Model's Academy along with our Student Services team are essential components in providing individualised wrap around support to our students.

Newton Moore Senior High School's proud status as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) provides our senior students with opportunities to achieve nationally recognised qualifications whilst at school. Our VET programs are flexible and unique. We have strong links with numerous RTOs allowing us to offer a plethora of pathways into a wide variety of industries.

A strong focus on Asian Languages has been supported by our sister school partnerships with schools in Japan, Singapore and Indonesia. International tours are offered to our students biannually enriching the Indonesian and Japanese languages programs.

Providing our students with exciting extra curricula opportunities through programs such as Bushranger Cadets, Outdoor Education, Elite Hockey and Basketball, Running Club, Country Week and Battle of the Knights adds value to the academic programs delivered within the school. Aspiring artists, musicians and actors are extended in the band and drama programs, culminating in memorable school productions.
