From the intersection of Pink Lake Drive and Collier Road, south east and east along Collier Road to the railway line, south east and south along the railway line to the junction (where one track goes south to the port, and the other goes east to the tanker jetty), south from this junction along the railway line to a point north east from the junction of Johns Street and Wollamai Place, south west from this point on the railway line to the junction of Johns Street and Woollamai Place, south along Johns Street to Twilight Beach Road, and continuing south to the coastline, west along the coast to the south east extension of Riche Road, north west along this extension and Riche Road to the junction with Stewart Street, north west from this junction through the golf course to Nicholson Drive, north along Nicholson Drive to Eleven Mile Beach Road, north along Eleven Mile Beach Road to Pink Lake Road, and continuing north along Pink Lake Drive to Collier Road.
The boundary parts of Collier Road (both sides), Eleven Mile Beach Road (both sides) and Pink Lake Drive (both sides) are included within the local-intake area for Nulsen Primary School. The boundary parts of Riche Road (both sides) and Nicholson Drive (both sides) are excluded from the local-intake area for Nulsen Primary School. The boundary parts of Johns Street from Woollamai Place to Twilight Beach Road (both sides) are optional between Esperance Primary School and Nulsen Primary School.

The local-intake area maps are based on a written description of the local-intake area (LIA) for the school as published in the WA Government Gazette.
