The implementation of Cooperative Learning strategies into all classes K - 6.

Tribes is a process that creates a culture that maximises learning and human development. Tribes enables us to implement cooperative learning strategies in a safe, supportive and inclusive environment.
Through a TRIBES culture, the school explicitly uses instructional strategies and tactics in the teaching and learning process.

A school wide Creative and Thinking Program promotes these skills in students.

Digital Technology competence is valued, with students applying their skills across the curriculum in their daily learning in all year levels

All students in Years P-6 access a 30 minute Drama/Performance Arts lesson with our specialist.

Parents, supported by staff, teach identified students to play a musical instrument or sing in the school band.

Our Music Specialist facilitates a school choir.

Indonesian learning opportunities for students in Years 3-6 are provided.

All Years P - 6 classes receive weekly Physical Education lessons through the Phys Ed Specialist program.

Students engage in a minimum of 2 hours physical education each week, either with the specialist or classroom teacher.

Students in Kindergarten also engage in structured outdoor activities and play.

Enable students to learn about science through real life, hands on experiences.
Opportunities for students include Sustainable Gardens, monitoring their environment (Darch Brook) and establishing a whole school approach towards sustaining their environment.

Rapids Landing PS is a WasteWise and WaterWise school.

A group of Years 1-6 students lead sustainability, promoting this outcome in the school community, through battery, paper and mobile phone recycling and taking care of our garden and school surrounds.

All students in Years P-6 access a 60 minute Visual Arts lesson with our specialist.
