Gifted and Talented - Selective Academic School/Program
The Gifted and Talented program is offered for the purpose of providing gifted and talented students entering Year 7, 9, 10 and 11 in public schools access to a range of programs that meet their specific talents.
As well as the extension and enrichment work in a special program area; students follow a normal course of study in secondary schooling.
The humanities program combines studies in English and studies in Humanities and Social Sciences and links classroom learning with community participation. Active citizenship is an important part of the program.
The mathematics and science program features regular participation in national and international competitions and these efforts have been rewarded with many trophies over the years. Each school has links to universities. The study program matches each student's interests and academic strengths. The learning environment is intellectually stimulating and rigorous.

Arts Media Program 7 to 10
Delivered in partnership with universities and industry, the Arts Media Specialist Program provides students with in-depth industry knowledge and access to the latest technology to develop their skills in visual arts, digital design, film and television and photography. Students explore thinking, learning and making in the creative subject areas across digital technologies, digital photography, video/filming, digital installations, animation, virtual reality, game design and 3D printing to help them discover their potential in creative future jobs. Excursions and participation in real life projects, competitions and exhibitions to inspire and ignite students creative career aspirations.

Engineering Program 7 to 10
The Engineering Specialist Program provides a foundation for students interested in pursuing a career in the engineering industry and mining related fields. Students have the opportunity to develop skills in structural design, robotics, mechanical and electrical. This program equips students with the in-depth industry knowledge and job ready skills they need to pursue a career in the rapidly expanding engineering sector. Your child will be challenged and inspired to engage in real life engineering projects, workshops and competitions.
