School of Special Educational Needs: Disability
The School of Special Educational Needs: Disability (SSEND) together with the School of Special Educational Needs: Behaviour and Engagement (SSENBE), the School of Special Educational Needs: Medical and Mental Health (SSENMMH) and the School of Special Educational Needs: Sensory (SSENS) form the Schools of Special Educational Needs (SSEN).
SSEND provides evidence based and practical support for schools to collectively improve educational outcomes for students with disability and learning disabilities.
SSEND provides:
* Consultancy to schools statewide to support students with disability and learning disabilities;
* Support to local networks of schools to assist in identification of needs in relation to students with disability or learning disabilities and how these might be addressed;
* Contextualised evidence based professional learning courses and seminars; and
* Online information and resources.
