Nestled alongside Wungong Brook in Hilbert, Wungong Primary School opened its doors to the local community in February 2026. We believe our students, staff and community are highly capable and we will support them by encouraging a love of learning, developing authentic, caring relationships and delivering high quality, connected teaching. We have high expectations for the success of the whole child and believe that when people are strong in culture and community, they achieve more.
Our campus is state-of-the-art. All classrooms are airconditioned and enjoy the latest technologies. Complementing the abundance of green space in our suburb, our school has multiple playgrounds and open areas for our students to play, connect and learn. Our Gilgie playground is particularly amazing.
As we set the culture of Wungong Primary School, we will work to provide all students with a sense of connection and a safe space in which to be curious. Our pastoral care and support for students with additional needs is exceptional and we are proudly a hub for our community. We recruit passionate and engaged educators who have high expectations for student learning and behaviour. Systems and support are be designed so that our educators can get on with the job of teaching. Our evidence-based, whole-school programs in literacy, numeracy and social & emotional learning provide connection and togetherness across the school.
