Eglinton Beach Primary School opened its doors to the local community of Eglinton in February 2025. It is the first school to open in the suburb of Eglinton and is an inclusive school catering for children from Kindergarten to Year Six with an integrated Education Support program for up to 50 children.
The school caters for the growing community in the Northern Coastal Suburb and focuses on providing a welcoming, caring environment where each child's individual needs are catered for. Foundation Principal, Mrs Vanessa Blythe, worked closely with the local community to create the vision for the school - Together we Excel, Forward we Grow. Strong relationships with families and community are prioritised to provide a genuine partnership to support every child's school journey. Creating a culturally responsive, inclusive environment where each child feels, safe, welcome and thrives to achieve to their full potential is the basis of the school's ethos.
The school employs staff who nurture trusting relationships, along with using the latest research to deliver highly effective teaching practices, having high expectations for all children. The staff provide engaging, contemporary teaching approaches in a learning environment underpinned by trust, challenge, support and respect. Staff commit to ongoing professional learning to ensure the very best educational outcomes are achieved for all children.
The school is located on a large site on Cerulean Drive, backing onto Heath Park. The school has state-of-the-art facilities with a purpose-built Early Childhood, two double story teaching blocks a dedicated Education Support facility, library and undercover area. Specialist teaching areas for Music/Performing Arts, Visual Arts and Science/STEM are also included. The well-established oval supports an excellent Physical Education program.
We look forward to welcoming your child and family to be a part of this new and growing school.
