Henley Brook Primary School (5875)

School Overview

At Henley Brook Primary School, our vision is to build a connected school within a connected community; a school where students connect, belong and thrive. The school is the first school in Henley Brook and will open its doors to students from Kindergarten to Year 6 in January 2024 catering to both Henley Brook and Brabham families.

Our school campus is going to be stunning - with lots of play spaces for students to enjoy, fun playgrounds, lots of trees and greenery and facilities that will support students to thrive, including extensive sporting facilities, an undercover area and library. All classrooms will be air-conditioned and enjoy state-of-the-art access to modern learning technologies. We will be a school that strives for excellence and establishes high expectations in every classroom, every day.

School staff will work in close partnership with community members to strive for excellence, where student success and wellbeing sits at the heart of everything we do. Together we will work to provide a foundation for every child to feel that sense of connection and belonging and build a school where each of our students will thrive.

At Henley Brook Primary School, we will value the importance of every child having a strong sense of belonging, safety, and connectedness. Every child will be valued as an individual in our learning community, through the provision of outstanding pastoral care to support the social and emotional wellbeing of all our students.

We will recruit passionate and engaged educators; good people who have a strong moral compass and a respect for all. The school will promote an inclusive and culturally responsive learning environment, underpinned by the latest research for highly effective teaching practices. All staff will have high expectations for student learning and behaviour. They will be committed to working as part of a dynamic team, to engage and develop resilient, creative, and responsible children who care for one another.

To ensure all children make ongoing progress and reach their academic, social-emotional, physical and creative potential, our staff will provide highly engaging, responsive, and contemporary teaching approaches in a learning environment underpinned by trust, challenge, support and respect. Staff will commit to ongoing professional development to ensure the very best outcomes for our children.

We welcome our families and value their engagement and partnership with our school staff to ensure that together, we make a positive difference and that our school culture reflects the values and priorities held by the community.
