Pine View Primary School (5862)

School Overview

Pine View Primary School opened in 2021 and caters for Kindergarten to Year 6 students.

At Pine View Primary School, we focus on developing the whole child. We will help students learn important skills, such as resilience and confidence, to help them grow both academically and personally. We will also share our passion for learning so they enjoy school, want to learn and are encouraged to become lifelong learners.
Our school is becoming the 'hub' of the community and reflect the values and aspirations of our community members. Our community will participate in shaping our school and its culture.

Commencing 2022, an Education Support Program will be available for students in the area.
Education support facilities may offer enrolment to students in the following diagnostic disability categories:
* Students with an Intellectual Disability or Global Development Delay and who are eligible for an Individual Disability Allocation under this category.
* Students with eligibility for an Individual Disability Allocation for Autism Spectrum Disorder and a demonstrated high educational need.

Where a student does not meet the above but demonstrates high educational need, local placement in an education support facility of up to one year is permitted to address identified personal needs with the expectation that the student returns to their local school.

The school comprises of:
* an administration block
* a library resource centre which contains the staff room
* an early childhood block
* three learning blocks, one of which has an Art/Science room
* an Education Support block including a sensory and therapy room
* a covered assembly area, canteen and a music room
* a multi-purpose playing court, junior football oval and cricket practise nets.
