The school was reclassified to a Level 3 Primary School for the start of the 2000 school year. Our community celebrated the school's centenary in 2011.

Dumbleyung Primary School is a small, community-oriented school with 45 students from K-6. Students and staff are well-known to each other and feel a sense of belonging and pride in their school.

As a small school, we take advantage of opportunities not available to bigger schools and our students enjoy a range of experiences that enhance their primary education. Our small staff support each other to achieve great things for our students and all contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture.

The School has a very active Parents and Citizens (P&C) Association as well as supportive School Council. The school staff and community have formed a collaborative partnership to ensure a positive learning environment, allowing for optimum outcomes for all students.

Our moral purpose 'Every student, every day, commitment to achieve' reflects our daily mantra for each and every child in our great school!
