Three Springs Primary School (5435)

School Overview

Nestled in the heart of a close-knit community, Three Springs Primary School prides itself on fostering a warm, welcoming environment where every child is known, valued, and supported. Guided by strong, wholesome values such as kindness, respect, perseverance and responsibility, we create a nurturing space where students grow not only academically but also as compassionate and confident individuals.

Three Springs Primary School was established in 1908 and is an Independent Public School located 172 kms from the Mid-West District Education Office in Geraldton and 320 kms north of Perth.

We operate three classes to support students from Kindergarten to Year 6. Students travel to school via an East and West bus run, by bike, on foot, or by car. After completing Year 6, students typically transition to Carnamah District High School, Morawa District High School, or attend boarding schools.

The school grounds include a netball/basketball court, a shaded adventure playground, and an established play area featuring a bike track affectionately known as 'Tiggerland'. Students also enjoy a reticulated grassed oval for play. A shade structure, used for both play and assemblies, was proudly installed by the Three Springs P&C.

The School Board is a valued and integral decision-making body that represents the perspectives of parents and the wider community, playing a key role in supporting and guiding our school's ongoing improvement.

Our active Parents & Citizens Association plays a vital role in representing the school community, significantly supporting the organisation of major school events and the enhancement of school resources throughout the year.

Three Springs Town

Three Springs is a small country town in the Mid-West region of Western Australia, located 313 kilometres north of Perth on the Midlands Road.
It's the seat of the Shire of Three Springs, and its economy is based on agriculture (grain and sheep farming) and mining. The town is known for its picturesque townscape, old-style wheat silos, and is located in the heart of wildflower country.

The town's name is derived from the three original water springs located to the northeast of the town which were used by the early settlers and drovers for stock watering purposes.

Three Springs has a butcher, bottle shop, post office, chemist, dining, fuel, groceries, hardware, lotto and tourist information. There are active community groups including Lions, Tidy Towns, SJA, FESA and RSL. Sport plays an important role within our community such as Football, Netball, Hockey, Tennis, Lawn Bowls, Golf and Swimming to name a few.
