Together we provide a safe, supportive and inclusive environment where every student is empowered to achieve their potential, contribute positively to their community and thrive as lifelong learners.
Tambellup Primary School is at the heart of our community, fostering strong partnerships that support student success and wellbeing. We are committed to providing high-quality teaching and learning experiences that inspire every student to achieve their personal best.
Our dedicated staff work collaboratively to deliver evidence-informed teaching practices with a strong focus on literacy and numeracy, ensuring students develop the knowledge, skills and confidence required for future success. Students also engage in rich learning opportunities across all learning areas, including Science, Humanities and Social Sciences, Technologies, The Arts and Physical Education.
We believe that every child can succeed. Through a culture of high expectations, strong relationships and personalised support, we create learning environments where students feel safe, valued and connected. Our approach is underpinned by continuous improvement, collective teacher efficacy and a commitment to delivering high-impact teaching practices.
Community partnerships are central to our school's success. We work closely with families, local organisations and agencies to enrich learning opportunities and strengthen student outcomes. Our active and highly supportive Parents and Citizens' Association (P&C) and School Council play a vital role in school life, contributing to decision-making, fundraising, events and the ongoing improvement of our facilities and programs.
As a small rural school, we are proud of our strong sense of belonging and community spirit. Students regularly participate in local events, environmental projects, sporting opportunities and community initiatives, developing a sense of responsibility, leadership and connection to place.
Established in 1905 and located on our current site since 1948, Tambellup Primary School continues to evolve while maintaining its strong community values. Our facilities include a Kindergarten and Pre-Primary Centre, contemporary learning spaces, a library, administration facilities and outdoor learning environments. We proudly offer initiatives such as Breakfast Club, school gardening projects and community programs that support the wellbeing and engagement of our students and families. Together, we are building a school where every student is known, valued and supported to flourish.
