At Perenjori Primary School our aim is to nurture and challenge students to excel in a modern and creative learning environment equipped with 21st Century technology. Individual iPads are supplied by the school for every student and used daily in lessons with platforms to upload learning to share with parents. For detailed work, a class set of laptops is available for classes to share daily.
Our conscientious and professional staff are continually dedicated to implementing evidence based programs suited to multi-age classes and differentiated curriculum, to appeal to the variety of learners. The children in our care are offered multimedia teaching facilities including interactive whiteboards, iPads and laptops to support each student on their journey to become a lifelong learner. Forming an alliance with local network schools has paved the way to strengthen opportunities and participation in educational programs and whole school initiatives.
Perenjori Primary School was one of the first schools to be selected as an Independent Public School and to take up the Positive Behaviour Support program with significant benefits gained from these initiatives. The School Board is an important and valued decision-making group that represents the views of the parents and the community and contributes greatly to our school improvement. Our active Parents & Citizens association represents the school community and contributes greatly to the running of major school events throughout the year and the development of resources.
Located in the heart of the wheat belt, surrounded by the magnificence of wildflowers every winter, the school offers a welcoming and safe environment with nature on its doorstep. Students living in town can safely walk to school and those on farms commute on school buses and they all enjoy striving to improve academically to achieve their personal best.
