School Overview

Osborne Primary School is an Independent Public School situated close to Perth city, catering for a large percentage of students from diverse multicultural, socio-economic and language backgrounds. The whole school community work closely together to support the overall development and wellbeing of our students. We celebrate their individual strengths, qualities and abilities to ensure they achieve both academically and socially. Our students are well-behaved and demonstrate our school values of resilience, respect and responsibility.

Our caring, dedicated and experienced staff work collaboratively to plan and deliver the Western Australian Curriculum, and continually reflect on their performance to further develop their abilities and skills. They provide positive and inclusive experiences and opportunities that cater for students' individual needs and abilities.

We offer a range of academic, social and emotional programs to support and enhance students' academic, physical, social and emotional needs. Specialist programs include Art, Music, Physical Education, Aboriginal Language (Noongar) and Digital Technology.

Our parent community are extremely supportive and play a vital role in contributing to the operations of the school. The School Board provides strong governance to the school to help meet the needs of students and community expectations. Our active P & C organises and run many activities to facilitate school programs and further build and enhance the strong community feel that exists at the school.

At Osborne Primary School we have a long and proud history, and our proximity to central Perth attracts many young families to the area. In recent years, the school has experienced an increase in student enrolments.
