Founded in 1935, Onslow School has a proud and enduring history of service to its community and, following its relocation to a new site in 2006, has grown into a diverse Kindy to Year 12 school that reflects the unique character of Onslow. The school is grounded in a shared commitment to learning together by building strong, respectful connections between staff, students, families and the wider community.

Respect for the culture and history of the Thalanyji people is central to the school's identity, with Two Way Science and Aboriginal Languages programs strengthening students' understanding of culture, country and community.
