Chidlow Primary School (5099)

School Overview

Nestled amongst the stunning Jarrah and Marri forests, and just minutes from the natural beauty of Lake Leschenaultia, Chidlow Primary School offers a unique blend of a peaceful rural setting with high-quality, modern education. Located fifty-five kilometres east of Perth, our school serves families from across Chidlow, Gidgegannup, Wooroloo, and The Lakes.

At Chidlow PS, every child is known, valued, and supported. With around 134 students from Kindergarten to Year 6 across six classes, our size allows us to maintain a strong sense of community while ensuring personalised learning. Our dedicated and professional staff are committed to developing the whole child, nurturing both academic success and student wellbeing.

We deliver a dynamic curriculum underpinned by evidence-based programs, including Sounds Write, Spelling Mastery, Stepping Stones Maths, and Talk 4 Writing. These structured approaches equip students with the essential skills for literacy and numeracy, while fostering a love of learning. Specialist teachers in Physical Education, Health, Science, and Italian provide engaging opportunities that extend and enrich the classroom experience.

Our facilities support a rich and well-rounded education. Students enjoy a modern Administration building, Library, and dedicated Arts and Music Centre, alongside recently upgraded playgrounds and expansive grounds that encourage creativity, physical activity, and social connection.

Chidlow Primary School is more than just a place to learn, it is a thriving community built on strong partnerships with families. Guided by our motto, 'Working Together', we believe education is most powerful when home and school work side by side. Sustainability is also at the heart of what we do, preparing our students to be responsible and active citizens in a changing world.

Our vision, 'Creating champions in learning and life', reflects our commitment to ensuring every student leaves Chidlow PS confident, capable, and ready to embrace their future.
