Welcome to Hammond Park Secondary College - a modern, inclusive public school catering for students from Year 7 to 12. Located in the growing suburb of Hammond Park, the College offers a high-quality, future-focused education within a safe and supportive environment.
Since opening in 2020, our College has been co-created and built on the core values of Wellbeing, Excellence and Relationships. These values guide how we teach, learn and work together. We are proud to be a community where every student is known, supported and challenged to thrive.
As a modern Independent Public School, we offer high-quality teaching and learning programs within a safe, inclusive and supportive environment. Our experienced and dedicated staff bring strong curriculum knowledge and a shared commitment to instructional excellence. Teaching is informed by a whole-school Instructional Framework, supported through ongoing professional learning, coaching and collaboration.
Students at Hammond Park Secondary College enjoy a range of extensive and unique opportunities that allow them to excel in areas of interest and talent. We offer a range of academic and vocational pathways, including ATAR, General and VET programs. Extension and support are embedded across all learning areas, including literacy and numeracy interventions, academic mentoring and targeted senior school programs. Students across Years 7 to 10 enjoy our Academic Extension Program (AEP). The College is proud to host a Specialised Autism Learning Program (SALP), which strengthens our inclusive approach to education. In 2026, the College will launch a Board Endorsed Specialist AFL Academy, complementing our existing Specialist Music Academy. Programs and pathways across the full range of learning areas will continue to evolve in response to student voice and interest. All staff possess a shared commitment to providing opportunities for students to excel across the full range of learning areas.
At Hammond Park Secondary College, student wellbeing is a priority. A structured social-emotional learning curriculum, guided by the PERMAH framework, is delivered from Years 7 to 12. Our pastoral care programs are supported by a clear Positive Behaviour framework, Good Standing processes and House-based initiatives that promote connection, engagement and pride.
Students are expected to take responsibility for their learning and behaviour. We maintain high expectations and provide consistent support to ensure every student has the opportunity to succeed. The College also actively promotes student voice and agency, empowering students to take ownership of their learning and contribute meaningfully to the College community.
The College boasts contemporary facilities, including science laboratories, specialist design and technology workshops, a performing arts space, a gymnasium and extensive outdoor learning areas. Combined with state of the art equipment and resources, and fully networked classrooms, we are committed to providing learning environments that prepare students for the demands of a dynamic and future-focused world.
We are proud to be a local school of choice and maintain strong connections with our families, partner primary schools and the wider community.
