Byford Secondary College is an Independent Public School catering for children from Years 7 to 12. Our moral purpose is to work together to provide effective learning experiences where we all grow and students are prepared for a successful life beyond school.
Our motto 'Aspire to Excellence' articulates our commitment to success for each person in our college community. We are a school of choice for the local community and we are dedicated to providing your child with an exceptional Secondary education.
Aspire is our selective academic extension program, delivered in partnership with the University of Western Australia, which provides the College with access to the university's staff and facilities to enhance the educational experience we deliver. This partnership also provides our teaching staff with access to professional learning opportunities and exposure to the latest research in the field of education.
Our college is a contemporary facility offering those who attend the best in educational design and infrastructure to support student learning. We believe that every young person has unique experiences, learning styles and goals. We provide a comprehensive Secondary education with pathways leading to attainment of a Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) and the opportunity to achieve an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR), Vocational Education and Training (VET) qualifications or future employment. These programs are delivered in specially equipped Technologies workshops, Science laboratories, professional Arts facilities and other purpose built learning areas across the campus.
We welcome young people across the full spectrum of disabilities from students who have mild support need in our mainstream setting through to those who have significant physical and educational requirements in our Integrated Facility.
No matter what your child's post-school aspiration, Byford Secondary College will help your child find and achieve their dreams.
