Warnbro Community High School (WCHS) is located 50 km south of Perth, nestled in the beachside communities of Warnbro and Port Kennedy. WCHS offers a vibrant and nurturing learning environment that supports the holistic growth and development of students. The school community collaborates to cultivate strong aspirations and self-belief in students, empowering them to achieve success now and in the future. WCHS is dedicated to improving student outcomes by meeting each student at their point of need.
We offer unique and effective learning programs grounded in evidence-based strategies that ensure progress for all students. Known for our specialist programs in Creative Arts and Adventure Recreation for Years 7-10, WCHS also boasts excellent facilities that provide innovative opportunities in the Arts, Adventure Recreation, Technologies, and Engineering. Lower school students engage in social-emotional learning programs aimed at supporting their transition from primary to high school and building resilience.
To ensure a smooth transition from school to future careers, we offer extensive pathway planning throughout the WCHS journey, including Certificate training and a range of ATAR courses utilising both school and external resources. As a school within the Defence Industry belt, we are developing Defence Industry Pathways and Industry Links, connecting students with TAFE training and industry opportunities.
Our comprehensive Student Services team supports students and families, fostering a positive school culture through ongoing case management using a response to intervention model. The Student Well-being Hub offers access to guidance and targeted intervention programs. As a Positive Behaviour School (PBS), WCHS reinforces the expectations of being your Best, Responsible, and Respectful.
The support of our community is integral to the success of our school. We welcome enrolment inquiries and encourage you to learn more about WCHS by visiting our website at warnbro.wa.edu.au.
