At Belridge Secondary College, our students are at the heart of everything we do. Our wrap-around student services structure provides the highest level of care, promoting optimum conditions for student achievement. Strong academic achievement in both NAPLAN / OLNA has been key to our progress at the College. Our Academic Enrichment Programs (AEP) in STEM and Humanities provide a high level of challenge for our gifted students, with opportunities to extend their learning both inside and outside of the curriculum.
A broad and diverse Senior School Program offers courses across the ATAR, VET and GENERAL pathways providing opportunities for all types of learners across Years 11 and 12. Our highly experienced and qualified staff deliver Department Endorsed Specialist Programs in Cricket and Fashion Design and school-based Specialist Programs in Netball, Music and Dance. These programs provide an elite pathway for students wanting to follow their passion and attain excellence in their chosen field.
Belridge SC has two successful, intensively resourced, Specialist Programs: * BSC Cricket Academy * BSC Fashion Design Program.
Students from across the state can apply to join our DoE Approved Specialist Programs. The College also provides a broad range of school-based specialist programs, available to students living in the local intake area. These are: * Academic Enrichment Program in STEM (7-9) * Academic Enrichment Program Humanities (7-9) * Elite Netball * Elite Music * Elite Dance
Well-maintained facilities include a new state-of-the-art Performing Arts Centre, Visual Arts and Digital Media and Photography studios, Fashion Design specialist studio, Design and Technology workshops, Science Laboratories, Home Economics and more. Our sporting facilities include a gymnasium, fitness centre, climbing wall, basketball, tennis, netball, hockey, soccer, football and cricket grounds.
Belridge SC is co-located with Belridge Education Secondary Support Centre. 'Two schools, one community' is our underlying ethos. Integration happens at a meaningful, authentic level with both schools sharing teachers, facilities and students over the course of the school day. This environment models the importance of inclusion and partnership.
Belridge SC is part of the Joondalup Learning Community (JLC) with strong partnerships with our partner primary Joondalup schools. Our strong links with community are reflected in a progressive and supportive School Board. Members include parents, staff and community members with strong industrial and educational links. Members provide feedback, advice and support on the strategic direction of the college.
