School Overview



Cecil Andrews College continues to provide exemplary learning and education for students from Year 7 to Year 12. Located in Seville Grove, we deliver special programs in Science, Technology, Mathematics and Engineering (STEM), Australian Rules Football, and the Performing Arts, provide talented and dedicated students with unique pathways for success.
Our academic extension program, with dedicated staff, ensures that students engage in challenging learning opportunities and experience's through our strong partnerships with universities, industry and business. This allows students to achieve their potential and pursue an academic ATAR pathway in Year 11 and 12, towards tertiary studies and become successful in their future field of endeavour.
Our P-Tech (Pathways in Technology) program - a new way of skilling students for the workforce of the 21st century - enables unique learning and mentoring partnerships with industry including Austal Australia, Datacom, Civmec and Deloitte. Access to these exceptional companies prepares each participant with job-ready skills. P-Tech and our other vocational programs provide students with pathways to university, TAFE and further training and the workplace.
A digital technologies focus, including coding and robotics, and strong emphasis on literacy and numeracy across all learning areas at the college, further strengthen students' capabilities and increases pathway options towards, employment, training and further studies.
We understand that every student has different needs - physically, emotionally and mentally. Our comprehensive Student Wellbeing Team has experienced staff who are able to provide tailored support to students and families as required. Peer support programs and breakfast club provide support and life skills. This means each student has a safe place to go where they belong and feel nurtured. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students can also access additional support from dedicated staff through our successful Clontarf, Girls Academy and Follow The Dream programs.
Our new $5m STEM centre provides students with access to state-of the-art learning technologies. It features new cutting edge laboratories, pristine preparation areas and an enviable lecture theatre. Our college also has extensive playing fields which support the AFL students and brand new basketball courts. Together with our performing arts centre and attractive landscaped grounds, our campus creates a learning environment where students can thrive and feel comfortable.
