Tom Price Senior High School (4100)

School Overview

Tom Price Senior High School is an Independent Public School located on Eastern Guruma land near the picturesque surrounds of Karijini National Park and services students who live in the towns of Tom Price, Paraburdoo and the Wakathuni and Bellary communities.

We believe in empowering our students to reach their full potential through a diverse and dynamic learning environment. Our vision is to inspire a passion for learning in every student and to foster a community where diversity is celebrated and personal bests are achieved. We are committed to the values of Respect, Inclusivity, Personal Best, and Responsibility, and these values drive everything we do.

Your child will be provided with a quality education through an extensive Year 7 to Year 12 program. This includes the opportunity to be a part of the Pilbara CoRE program (Centre of Resource Excellence) - a secondary school specialist STEM course which focuses on the Pilbara's leading role in the mining and resources industry.

We offer a range of education programs, including Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) and Vocational Education and Training (VET) options. Our strong partnership with the University of Western Australia's ASPIRE program has been successful in helping our Year 12 students gain acceptance into university. Our VET program, supported by local businesses and industry, provides students with real-world learning experiences that can lead to nationally accredited vocational qualifications. We are also proud to partner with the Graham (Polly) Farmer Foundation and the Follow the Dream program to support our Indigenous students in achieving success. The school is part of the Ashburton School Alliance, working closely with our local primary schools to maximise learning opportunities for our students and create pathways for their future success.

At Tom Price Senior High School, we have a positive approach to learning, and encourage each student to strive for excellence in all aspects of their schooling. We believe in the potential of every student and are dedicated to advancing student learning and helping them reach their highest personal achievements. Join us and be part of a community where diversity is celebrated, and personal bests are achieved.
