School Overview

At Dayton Primary School our vision is to create a sense of belonging that promotes success, engagement and wellbeing for all.

The school is situated in the newly developing suburb of Dayton and opened its doors to students from Kindergarten to Year 6 in January 2023.

The indoor and outdoor learning spaces for the school have been carefully designed to inspire connection, creativity and an appreciation of the natural environment. These exceptional facilities will support children to thrive, including extensive sporting facilities, an undercover area and library. All classrooms are air-conditioned and enjoy state-of-the-art access to modern learning technologies. It is a place that encourages excellence and establishes high expectations in every classroom, every day.

Student success and wellbeing sit at the heart of everything that we do. Our staff are passionate and skilled and work collaboratively to provide supportive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environments that instils a sense of belonging- encouraging each child to reach their full potential. We beleive that high quality teaching, paired with a student's sense of belonging are the main drivers of successful student learning outcomes so we work to continually advance staff knowledeg and expertise to the highest level through targetted professional development and an established instructional coaching process that assist to embed Dayton's Instructional Teaching and Learning Framework, creating a highly effective and responsve Instructional Learning Ecosystem.

To ensure all children make ongoing progress and reach their academic, social-emotional, physical and creative potential, our staff provide highly engaging, responsive, and heavily researched teaching approaches in a learning environment underpinned by trust, challenge, support and respect.

The school's leadership team not only teach by example but lead through inspiration. They work hard tofoster a culture of opne honest feedback to actively develop the talents and skills of every staff member.
