BEENYUP PRIMARY SCHOOL (formerly BYFORD SOUTH EAST PRIMARY SCHOOL (PLANNING NAME)) (5859) (Government Gazette June 2019)

The following defines the local-intake area of this school from 2020:

From the junction of Abernethy Road and the railway line, west along Abernethy Road (south side included) to Doley Road, south along Doley Road (east side included) to the end of its future southern extension, south from this point to and across Cardup Siding Road to the north western corner of Cardup Nature Reserve, south along the western edge of Cardup Nature Reserve to the northern end of the proposed Bett Road, south along the proposed Bett Road (east side included) to a point due west of the intersection of Norman Road and the north-south railway line, east from this point to the aforesaid intersection and generally north along the railway line to Abernethy Road.

The following will define an optional area between Byford Primary School and Byford South East Primary School (planning name) from 2020:

From the junction of Abernethy Road and South Western Highway, south along the South Western Highway (west side included) to Norman Road, south west along Norman Road (north side included) to the railway line, generally north along the railway line to Abernethy Road and east along Abernethy Road (south side included) to the South Western Highway.

Note
The local-intake area maps are based on a written description of the local-intake area (LIA) for the school as published in the WA Government Gazette.  Although the map closely represents the LIA description, for some houses near the boundary (especially on street corners), it may be necessary to refer to the written description.  The street address of a residence is used to determine whether that dwelling is inside a particular LIA.  While local-intake areas for most schools do not change from year to year, changes may be made to local-intake areas as required.  Such changes are published in the WA Government Gazette and subsequently the local-intake area map will be updated.
