The following will define the local-intake area of this school when it opens in 2009:
From the intersection of Marmion Avenue and the locality boundary between Clarkson and Tamala Park, north along Marmion Avenue to Belleville Gardens, east along Belleville Gardens to Victorsen Parade, north along Victorsen Parade to Aldersea Circle, north along Aldersea Circle to Frawley Ramble, east along Frawley Ramble to Danaher Mews, south along Danaher Mews to its southern extremity, east to Connolly Drive, north along Connolly Drive to the southern boundary of the Clarkson Community High School site, east along the southern boundary of the high school site to Hannaford Avenue and continuing east along Elkington Mews and its easterly extension to Redbank Rise, east along Redbank Rise and its easterly extension to the Mitchell Freeway, south along the Mitchell Freeway to the locality boundary between Clarkson and Tamala Park and west along this locality boundary to Marmion Avenue.

The boundary parts of Marmion Avenue (east side), Belleville Gardens (south side) and Mitchell Freeway (west side) are included within this local-intake area. The boundary parts of Frawley Ramble (both sides), Danaher Mews (both sides), Connolly Drive (west side), Elkington Mews (both sides), Redbank Rise (both sides), Mitchell Freeway (west side), Lenswood Retreat (both sides), Walyunga Boulevard (both sides), Ormiston Gardens (both sides) and Haskell Gardens (both sides) are excluded from this local-intake area.

The following defines an optional area between Clarkson Primary School and Somerly Primary School:
From the junction of Aldersea Circle and Frawley Ramble, east along Frawley Ramble to Danaher Mews, south along Danaher Mews to its southern extremity, east to Connolly Drive, north along Connolly Drive to the southern boundary of the Clarkson Community High School site, east along the southern boundary of the high school site to Hannaford Avenue and continuing east along Elkington Mews and its easterly extension to Redbank Rise, east along Redbank Rise and its easterly extension to the Mitchell Freeway, north along the Mitchell Freeway to a point east of the easterly extension of Lenswood Retreat, west along this extension, and west, north and west along Lenswood Retreat to Walyunga Boulevard, south along Walyunga Boulevard to Ormiston Park, west through Ormiston Park to Ormiston Gardens, west along Ormiston Gardens to Hannaford Avenue, west through the Clarkson Community High School to Connolly Drive, west to Haskell Gardens, south west and south along Haskell Gardens to Frawley Ramble and west along Frawley Ramble to Aldersea Circle. The boundary parts of Frawley Ramble (both sides), Danaher Mews (both sides), Connolly Drive (west side), Elkington Mews (both sides), Redbank Rise (both sides), Mitchell Freeway (west side), Lenswood Retreat (both sides), Walyunga Boulevard (both sides), Ormiston Gardens (both sides) and Haskell Gardens (both sides) are included within this optional area.

Note
The local-intake area maps are based on a written description of the local-intake area (LIA) for the school as published in the WA Government Gazette.  Although the map closely represents the LIA description, for some houses near the boundary (especially on street corners), it may be necessary to refer to the written description.  The street address of a residence is used to determine whether that dwelling is inside a particular LIA.  While local-intake areas for most schools do not change from year to year, changes may be made to local-intake areas as required.  Such changes are published in the WA Government Gazette and subsequently the local-intake area map will be updated.
