The local-intake area for the school has been gazetted now to enable firm advice to be provided during 2004 to applicants for enrolment at this school. The following will define the local-intake area of this school-
From the intersection of Marangaroo Drive and Mirrabooka Avenue, west along Marangaroo Drive to the junction with Highclere Boulevard, north west and north from this junction between Penhurst Street, Horton Crescent and the eastern site boundary of the Marangaroo Golf Course (all on the west), and Highclere Boulevard, Caroline Green, Le Grand Gardens, Decourcey Way and Chancellor Rise (all on the east) to the proposed Hepburn Avenue, east along the proposed Hepburn Avenue to Mirrabooka Avenue and south along Mirrabooka Avenue to Marangaroo Drive. The boundary parts of Marangaroo Drive (north side), Highclere Boulevard (both sides), Caroline Green (both sides), Le Grand Gardens (both sides), Decourcey Way (both sides), Chancellor Rise (both sides), Hepburn Avenue (south side only) and Mirrabooka Avenue (west side only) are included within the local-intake area of East Marangaroo Primary School. The boundary parts of Penhurst Street (both sides) and Horton Crescent (both sides) are excluded from the local-intake area of East Marangaroo Primary School.
The following defines an optional area between Alinjarra Primary School and East Marangaroo Primary School-
From the intersection of Marangaroo Drive and Mirrabooka Avenue, north along Mirrabooka Avenue to the proposed Hepburn Avenue, east along the proposed Hepburn Avenue to Rangeview Road, south along Rangeview Road and continuing south along Axford Road and its extension to and through Highview Park to Derbi Road, south along Derbi Road to Hillcrest Road, south west along Hillcrest Road to Gerosa Place, south along Gerosa Place to Marangaroo Drive and west along Marangaroo Drive to Mirrabooka Avenue. The boundary parts of Mirrabooka Avenue (east side), Hepburn Avenue (south side) and Marangaroo Drive (north side) are included within the local-intake area of this optional area. The boundary parts of Rangeview Road (both sides), Axford Road (both sides), Derbi Road (both sides), Hillcrest Road (both sides) and Gerosa Place (both sides) are excluded from this optional area.

The local-intake area maps are based on a written description of the local-intake area (LIA) for the school as published in the WA Government Gazette. Although the map closely represents the LIA description, for some houses near the boundary (especially on street corners), it may be necessary to refer to the written description.
