From the intersection of Maida Vale Road and the Roe Highway north along the Roe Highway to Kalamunda Road, west northwest along Kalamunda Road to Range Court, south along Range Court to Range View Road, southwest along Range View Road to the south western boundary of Range View Park, northwest along this boundary to JeanHulley Road, southwest along JeanHulley Road to Wycombe Road, northwest along Wycombe Road to Norling Road, southwest along Norling Road to Kiandra Way, west along Kiandra Way to Cassowary Road, south from this point to and along Finch Court to Newburn Road west along Newburn Road to Butcher Road, south southwest and south along Butcher Road to Palmer Crescent west along Palmer Crescent to Norton Road, south from this point to the southern extremity of Kestral Court, northwest along Kestral Court to Palmer Crescent, southwest along Palmer Crescent to the junction with Mack Street, south west to the northern extremity of Everitt Place, south along Everitt Place to Maida Vale Road, west along Maida Vale Road to Dundas Road, south along Dundas Road to Berkshire Road, east along Berkshire Road to Milner Road, north east along Milner Road to Sultana Road West, south east along Sultana Road West and its south easterly extension to the Roe Highway and north along the Roe Highway to Maida Vale Road.

The boundary parts of Kalamunda Road (both sides), Butcher Road (both sides), Palmer Crescent (both sides), Berkshire Road (both sides), Milner Road (both sides) and the boundary street of Kestral Court (both sides) are excluded from the area for Edney Primary School.

The following defines an optional area between Edney and High Wycombe Primary Schools:
From the junction of Dundas Road and Sorensen Road, north east along Sorensen Road to Newburn Road, south east along Newburn Road to Butcher Road, south along Butcher Road to Palmer Crescent, west along Palmer Crescent (including Kestral Court) to the junction with Mack Close, south west to the northern extremity of Everitt Place, south along Everitt Place to Maida Vale Road, west along Maida Vale Road to Dundas Road, and north along Dundas Road to Sorensen Road. The boundary parts of Sorensen Road (both sides), Newburn Road (both sides), Butcher Road (both sides), Palmer Crescent (both sides), Kestral Court (both sides) and Dundas Road (both sides) are included within this local intake-area. The boundary parts of Mack Place (both sides) and Everitt Place (both sides) are excluded from this optional area.

The following defines an optional area between Edney and High Wycombe Primary Schools:
From the junction of Kalamunda Road and Kenneth Road, north east along Kenneth Road and its north east extension between the following two streets on the west (Treen Close and Larwood Crescent) and Lambertina Crescent (on the east) to Adelaide Street, south east along Adelaide Street to Roe Highway, south along Roe Highway to Kalamunda Road and north west along Kalamunda Road to Kenneth Road. The boundary parts of Kenneth Road (both sides), Lambertina Crescent (both sides), Adelaide Street (both sides) Roe Highway (west side) and Kalamunda Road (both sides) are included in this optional area. The boundary parts of Treen Close (both sides) and Larwood Crescent (both sides) are excluded from this optional area.

The following defines an optional area between Edney Primary School and Dawson Park Primary School:
From the junction of Dundas Road and Berkshire Road, east along Berkshire Road to Milner Road, north east along Milner Road to Sultana Road West, south east along Sultana Road West and its south easterly extension to the Roe Highway, south west along the Roe Highway to the Tonkin Highway, north west along the Tonkin Highway to Dundas Road and north along Dundas Road to Berkshire Road. The boundary parts of Berkshire Road (both sides), Milner Road (both sides), Roe Highway (west side), Tonkin Highway (north east side) and Dundas Road (both sides) are included within this optional area. The boundary parts of Sultana Road West (both sides) are excluded from this optional area.

Note
The local-intake area maps are based on a written description of the local-intake area (LIA) for the school as published in the WA Government Gazette.  Although the map closely represents the LIA description, for some houses near the boundary (especially on street corners), it may be necessary to refer to the written description.  The street address of a residence is used to determine whether that dwelling is inside a particular LIA.  While local-intake areas for most schools do not change from year to year, changes may be made to local-intake areas as required.  Such changes are published in the WA Government Gazette and subsequently the local-intake area map will be updated.
