The following defines the local-intake area of this school:

From the junction of Cypress Road and Sorrel Court, north east along Sorrel Court to its northern extremity, north west between Linden Way and Carissa Way and north east between Tarata Way and Carissa Way to the junction of Dawson Avenue and Juniper Way, north east along the western arm of Juniper Way and north east between Tallerack Way (on the west) and Calliandra Way (on the east) to the junction of Bougainvillea Avenue and Pyrus Way, south east, east and north east along Bougainvillea Avenue to Berkshire Road, north east along the north east extension of Bougainvillea Avenue through Darling Range Sports College (formerly known as Forrestfield Senior High School) to Sultana Road East, south east and east along Sultana Road East to Hawtin Road, south west along Hawtin Road to Hale Road, south west along Hale Road to Cypress Road and north west along Cypress Road to Sorrel Court.

The boundary parts of Sorrel Court (both sides), Carissa Way (both sides), Juniper Way (both sides), Calliandra Way (both sides), Bougainvillea Avenue(both sides), Sultana Road East (south side), Hawtin Road (west), Hale Road (north west) and Cypress Road (both sides) are included within the local-intake area of this school. The boundary parts of Linden Way (both sides), Tarata Way (both sides) and Tallerack Way (both sides) are excluded from the local-intake area of this school.

The following defines an optional area between Maida Vale Primary School, Dawson Park Primary School and Woodlupine Primary School:
From the junction of Hawtin Road and Kent Road, south along Hawtin Road to Sultana Road East, west and north west along Sultana Road East to Bruce Road, east along Bruce Road to Brewer Road, north along Brewer Road to Kent Road and east along Kent Road to Hawtin Road. The boundary parts of Hawtin Road (west side), Sultana Road East (north side), Bruce Road (south side), Brewer Road (east side) and Kent Road (south side) are included within this optional area.

The following defines an optional area between Forrestfield, Dawson Park and Woodlupine Primary Schools:
From the intersection of Tonkin Highway and Hale Road, northeast along Hale Road to Cypress Road, northwest along Cypress Road and its extension to Roe Highway, southwest along Roe Highway to Tonkin Highway, and southeast along Tonkin Highway to Hale Road. The boundary parts of Hale Road (north west side), Roe Highway (south east side) and Tonkin Highway (north east side) are included within the optional area, while the boundary street of Cypress Road (both sides) is excluded from the optional area.

The school also has an optional intake area as declared under Dawson Park Primary School and defined below.

The following defines an optional area between Dawson Park Primary School and Woodlupine Primary School:
From the junction of Bougainvillea Avenue and Pyrus Way, north east along the western arm of Pyris Way, continuing north east to and along the western arm of Coronilla Way and south east along Coronilla Way to Bougainvillea Avenue, south west and north west along Bougainvillea Avenue to Pyrus Way. The boundary parts of Pyrus Way (both sides) and Coronilla Way (both sides) are included within this optional area. The boundary parts of Bougainvillea Avenue (both sides) are excluded from this optional area.

Note
The local-intake area maps are based on a written description of the local-intake area (LIA) for the school as published in the WA Government Gazette.  Although the map closely represents the LIA description, for some houses near the boundary (especially on street corners), it may be necessary to refer to the written description.  The street address of a residence is used to determine whether that dwelling is inside a particular LIA.  While local-intake areas for most schools do not change from year to year, changes may be made to local-intake areas as required.  Such changes are published in the WA Government Gazette and subsequently the local-intake area map will be updated.
