The following defines the local-intake area of this school:

From the intersection of Morley Drive and Tonkin Highway, south along Tonkin Highway to the extension of Walter Road West, west to and along Walter Road West to Charnwood Street, north along Charnwood Street to Morley Drive, east along morley Drive to Crimea Street, north along Crimea Street to Fedders Steet, east along Fedders Street, continuing in an easterly direction along the east-west arms of Southwark Way to the north and Holhurst Way to the south to Emberson Road, south along Emberson Road to Morley Drive and east along Morley Drive to Tonkin Highway. The boundary parts of Tonkin Highway (west side), Walter Road West (north side), Morley Drive (eastern section, south side), Crimea Street (east side), and Holdhurst Way (both sides), and the boundary street of Fedders Street (both sides), are included within the area for Weld Square Primary School, while the boundary parts of Morley Drive (western section, both sides), Southwark Way (both sides), Emberson Road (both sides), and the boundary street of Charnwood Street (both sides), are excluded from the area for Weld Square Primary School.
