TAKARI PRIMARY SCHOOL (Dec76)

The boundaries for the above school are as follows:
Amelia Street from Cedric Street to Wanneroo Road thence north along Wanneroo Road to Balcatta Road.

Children living on the north side of Amelia Street and the west side of Wanneroo Road shall attend the North Balcatta Primary School. Children living on the south side of Amelia Street shall attend the Balcatta School.

The following have been declared as optional areas:
Between Balcatta Primary School, Takari Primary School and West Balcatta Primary School:
From the junction of Rance Street and Poincaire Street, south along Rance Street to Woodhall Street, west along Woodhall Street to Drew Street, south along Drew Street to Lowen Place, east along Lowen Place and south-east along a Right of Way leading to Jones Street, northeast and north along Jones Street to Poincaire Street, and west along Poincaire Street to the junc¬tion with Rance Street. The boundary streets of Rance Street (east side) and Lowen Place (north side) and the boundary parts of Woodhall Street (south side), Drew Street (east side), Jones Street (west side) and Poincaire Street (south side) are included in the optional area.

Between Balcatta Primary School and Takari Primary School:
From the intersection of Amelia Street and Main Street, west along Amelia Street to the eastern boundary of the Balcatta Senior High School site, south along such boundary to Poincaire Street, east along Poincaire Street to Jones Street, north along Jones Street to Keal Street, east along Keal Street to Langworth Road, north along Langworth Road to Donnington Road, east along Doniington Road to Canning Street, north along, Canning Street to Alexander Street, east along Alexander Street to -Main Street, and north along Main Street to the intersection with Amelia Street. The-boundary streets of Keal Street (north side), Donnington Road (north side) and Alexander Street (north side) and the boundary parts of Amelia Street (south side), Poincaire Street (northside), Jones Street (west side), Langworth Road (west side), Canning Street (west side) and Main Street (west side) are included in the optional area.

The local-intake area maps are based on a written description of the local-intake area (LIA) for the school as published in the WA Government Gazette.  Although the map closely represents the LIA description, for some houses near the boundary (especially on street corners), it may be necessary to refer to the written description.  The street address of a residence is used to determine whether that dwelling is inside a particular LIA.  While local-intake areas for most schools do not change from year to year, changes may be made to local-intake areas as required.  Such changes are published in the WA Government Gazette and subsequently the local-intake area map will be updated.
