The following defines the local-intake area of this school:

From the intersection of the Roe Highway and the Tonkin Highway, south along the Roe Highway to Welshpool Road, east along Welshpool Road to the railway bridge, south east from the railway bridge along the locality boundary between Kenwick and Wattle Grove, continuing north east and south east along this locality boundary to Boundary Road, north east along the extension of Boundary Road to Tonkin Highway, south east along Tonkin Highway to the local government boundary between the City of Gosnells and the Shire of Kalamunda, north east along this local government boundary and its north easterly extension to the junction of Crystal Brook Road and Gavour Road, north from this road junction to the junction of Welshpool Road and the south west extension of Schofield Road, west from this junction along Welshpool Road to Lewis Road, west from this junction through Hartfield Country Club golf course to the Tonkin Highway, north west along Tonkin Highway to Roe Highway. The boundary parts of Roe Highway (east side), Welshpool Road (western section, north side), Tonkin Highway (southern section, east side), Welshpool Road (eastern section, south side) and Tonkin Highway (northern section, west side) are included within the local-intake area of this school.

The following defines an optional area between Wattle Grove Primary School and East Kenwick Primary School-
From the bridge carrying Welshpool Road over the railway line, south east along the locality boundary between Kenwick and Wattle Grove, continuing north east and south east along this locality boundary to Boundary Road, north east along the extension of Boundary Road to Tonkin Highway, south east along Tonkin Highway to the locality boundary between Kenwick and Maddington, south east along this locality boundary to Bickley Road, north west along Bickley Road to the railway line and north along the railway line to Welshpool Road. The boundary parts of Tonkin Highway (west side) are included within this optional area, and the boundary parts of Bickley Road (both sides) are excluded from this optional area.

The following defines an optional area between Wattle Grove Primary School and Orange Grove Primary School-
From the junction of Crystal Brook Road and Gavour Road, south west to the northernmost point of the locality boundary between Wattle Grove and Orange Grove, south east along this locality boundary to the locality boundary between Wattle Grove and Lesmurdie, north east, north west and north east along this locality boundary to Welshpool Road East, generally west along Welshpool Road East to the junction of Welshpool Road East and the extension of Schofield Road, south from this junction to the junction of Crystal Brook Road and Gavour Road. The boundary parts of Welshpool Road East (south side) are included within this optional area.

The following defines an optional area between Wattle Grove Primary School and Forrestfield Primary School-
From the junction of Welshpool Road East and Lewis Road, north east along Lewis Road to Palm Terrace, south east along Palm Terrace to the picnic area at Lesmurdie Brook, south from the picnic area to Welshpool Road East and generally west along Welshpool Road East to Lewis Road. The boundary parts of Palm Terrace (both sides) and Welshpool Road East (north side) are included within this optional area. The boundary parts of Lewis Road (both sides) are excluded from this optional area.

Note
The local-intake area maps are based on a written description of the local-intake area (LIA) for the school as published in the WA Government Gazette.  Although the map closely represents the LIA description, for some houses near the boundary (especially on street corners), it may be necessary to refer to the written description.  The street address of a residence is used to determine whether that dwelling is inside a particular LIA.  While local-intake areas for most schools do not change from year to year, changes may be made to local-intake areas as required.  Such changes are published in the WA Government Gazette and subsequently the local-intake area map will be updated.
