CASTLETOWN PRIMARY SCHOOL (5095) (Government Gazette December 2000)

The following defines the local-intake area of this school:

From the most easterly point on the shore of Lake Warden, east to Norseman Road, south along Norseman Road to Harbour Road, south west and south along Harbour Road to the railway line,
south east and east along the railway and its extension to the tanker jetty, and north and north east along the coastline from the jetty to Bandy Creek Harbour.
The boundary parts of the Norseman Road (east side) and Harbour Road (east side) are included within this local-intake area.

The following defines an optional area between Castletown Primary School and Esperance Primary School.
From a point on shore of Lake Warden at the northern extension of Warden Road, east and north east along the shoreline of Lake Warden to the most easterly point of Lake Warden, east from this point to Norseman Road, south along Norseman Road to Harbour Road, south west and south along Harbour Road to Monjingup Road, west along Monjingup Road to Warden Road, north along Warden Road and its northern extension to Lake Warden. The boundary parts of Norseman Road (west side), Harbour Road (north west and west side) and Warden Road (both sides) are included within this optional area. The boundary parts of Monjingup Road (both sides) are excluded from this optional area.

The boundary for Castletown Primary School includes the following school bus routes: Merivale, Myrup, Neridup, Cape Le Grand, Jendabillup, Scaddan and Dempster. Approval to travel as a complimentary passenger on any of these buses does not entitle a child to attend Castletown Primary School.
