SOUTH BUNBURY PRIMARY SCHOOL (5072) (Government Gazette December 1970)

The following defines the local-intake area of this school:

From Beach Road at the ocean, thence east along Beach Road and Strickland Street to King Road, thence south along King Road and Bray Street to Queensbury Street, thence west along Queensbury Street to Clarke Street, thence west along Clarke Street to Blair Street, thence south along Blair Street and Bussell Highway. With the exception of Bussell Highway, children living in all other boundary streets are to attend South Bunbury. Children living in Bussell Highway must attend Carey Park.

The boundary between Cooinda Primary School and the three schools, Carey Park Primary School, Bunbury Primary School and South Bunbury Primary School is as follows:

The Railway Line from Koombana Bay, thence northeast along Stevens Street to Atkins Street, and thence along Atkins Street to the Preston River.

Children living in the boundary streets of Pettervile and Atkins Streets (both sides) shall attend the Coolinda School.

The optional area in Wollaston will remain unchanged other than in the definition relating to Stevens Street and Atkins Street above.

Note
The local-intake area maps are based on a written description of the local-intake area (LIA) for the school as published in the WA Government Gazette.  Although the map closely represents the LIA description, for some houses near the boundary (especially on street corners), it may be necessary to refer to the written description.  The street address of a residence is used to determine whether that dwelling is inside a particular LIA.  While local-intake areas for most schools do not change from year to year, changes may be made to local-intake areas as required.  Such changes are published in the WA Government Gazette and subsequently the local-intake area map will be updated.
