The following will define the local-intake area of this school from 2019:

From the intersection of Mandurah Road and Paganoni Road, east along Paganoni Road (south side included) and east along its eastern extension to the Serpentine River, south along the Serpentine River to the Kwinana Freeway, north along the Kwinana Freeway (east side included) to Mandjoogoordap Drive, south and south west along Mandjoogoordap Drive (west side included) to a point on the eastern extension of the property boundary between 44 Ellinwood Loop and 46 Ellinwood Loop, west along this extension and west along the property boundary between 44 Ellinwood Loop (excluded from this local-intake area) and 46 Ellinwood Loop (included in this local-intake area), west along the northern arm of Ellinwood Loop (north side included) to Grandmere Parade, continuing west along Grandmere Parade (north side included) to the underpass linking the northern and southern fairways of the golf course and south and south west along the southern fairways to Meadow Springs Drive, north west along Meadow Springs Drive (north side included) to Mandurah Road, north along Mandurah Road (east side included) to Ronsard Drive, west along Ronsard Drive (north side included) to Borda Pass, north along Borda Pass (east side included) to Acheron Road, west along Acheron Road (north side included) and west along its western extension to the coastline, north along the coastline to the western extension of Karunjie Road, east along this extension and east along Karunjie Road (south side included) to Minderoo Crescent, north along Minderoo Crescent (east side included) to the future road reserve between 8 Minderoo Crescent and 10 Minderoo Crescent, east along the centre of this future road reserve between 8 Minderoo Crescent (included in this local-intake area) and 10 Minderoo Crescent (excluded from this local-intake area) and continuing east to the western end of Gaze Grove, east along Gaze Grove (south side included) to the eastern corner of 10 Gaze Grove, south east along the property boundary between 13 Gaze Grove (excluded from this local-intake area) and 2314 Mandurah Road (included in this local-intake area) and its south east extension to Mandurah Road, and south along Mandurah Road (west side included) to the junction with Paganoni Road.

Note
For students in Years 11 and 12 and within the local-intake area for Coastal Lakes College, your enrolment entitlement will be at either John Tonkin College or Comet Bay College until such time Coastal Lakes College enrols Year 11 and 12 students. Note
The local-intake area maps are based on a written description of the local-intake area (LIA) for the school as published in the WA Government Gazette.  Although the map closely represents the LIA description, for some houses near the boundary (especially on street corners), it may be necessary to refer to the written description.  The street address of a residence is used to determine whether that dwelling is inside a particular LIA.  While local-intake areas for most schools do not change from year to year, changes may be made to local-intake areas as required.  Such changes are published in the WA Government Gazette and subsequently the local-intake area map will be updated.
