The following defines the local-intake area of this school:

From the intersection of Toodyay Road and Roe Highway, south along the Roe Highway (west side excluded) to Great Eastern Highway, west along Great Eastern Highway (south side included) to Lloyd Street, south along Lloyd Street (both sides excluded) to Clayton Street, south east along Clayton Street (north east side included) to Military Road, south along Military Road (both sides included) to Bushmead Road, east along Bushmead Road and Helena Valley Road to the local government boundary between the City of Swan and the Shire of Mundaring, south east, east and north east along this boundary to the local government boundary between the Shire of Kalamunda and the Shire of Mundaring, east, north east and south east along this boundary to the southern extension of Victor Road, north along this extension and Victor Road (west side included) to the locality boundary between Boya and Darlington, north along this locality boundary to the locality boundary between Darlington and Greenmount, north along this locality boundary to Pitterson Road, west along Pitterson Road (south side included) to a point on the southern extension of Stirling Road, north along this extension to Great Eastern Highway, east along Great Eastern highway to the intersection with the locality boundary between Greenmount and Hovea, north then west along this boundary to the locality boundary between Swan View and Hovea, generally north along this boundary to the intersection with the local government boundary between the City of Swan and the Shire of Mundaring, north east and north along this local government boundary to the intersection with Toodyay Road, and generally southwest along Toodyay Road (south side included) to the intersection with Roe Highway.

The following defines an optional area between Swan View Senior High School and Governor Stirling Senior High School:

From the intersection of Great Eastern Highway and Roe Highway, west along Great Eastern Highway (both sides included) to Bushby Street, north along Bushby Street (both sides included) and its extension northwards along the locality boundary to Eddie Barron Drive, east along the locality boundary between Middle Swan and Midvale to the Roe Highway, and south along the Roe Highway (west side included) to Great Eastern Highway.

The following defines an optional area for Swan View Senior High School, Eastern Hills Senior High School, and Kalamunda Senior High School:

From the junction of Darlington Road and the Great Eastern Highway, west along Great Eastern Highway (south side included) to the point where the southern extension of Stirling Road meets Great Eastern Highway, due south from this point to Pitterson Road, east along Pitterson Road (north side included) to the north-south alignment of the locality boundary between Darlington and Greenmount and its extension due south to Victor Road, south along Victor Road to the Helena River, generally east along the Helena River to the locality boundary between Mahogany Creek and Mundaring at the confluence of Helena River and Old Mill Gully, north along this locality boundary to Phillips Road east along Phillips Road (both sides included) to Coppin Road, north along Coppin Road (both sides excluded) to Jacoby Street, west along Jacoby Street (both sides included) to Craven Road, north along Craven Road (both sides included) to Great Eastern Highway, west along Great Eastern Highway (south side included) to Brooking Road, north along Brooking Road (both sides included) to Hedges Road, west along Hedges Road (both sides included) to the junction with Oxley Road, west along Oxley Road (both sides included) to the junction with Park Road, south along Park Road (both sides included) to Great Eastern Highway, west along Great Eastern Highway (south side included) to the junction with Darlington Road.
