Welcome to Women in Leadership

The Department of Education and Training in Western Australia has developed the Women in Leadership Strategy 2009-2010. This Strategy specifically targets the development of leadership capabilities for women employees of the Department.

The Strategy is a specific commitment within the Department’s Equity and Diversity Management Plan 2009-2010 to increase the representation of women at senior levels. The Strategy will guide, influence and support this commitment.

International Women’s Day Women of Achievement Award Dinner 2009

Each year the Department of Education and Training celebrate International Women’s Day with a gala dinner, (the Women of Achievement Award Dinner) to recognise the contribution of women to education and training in Western Australia.

Supervisory/Peer Coaching: a professional learning program for school administrators
6 July 2009 to 9 December 2009
Up to 15 places are being offered in an innovative and exciting professional learning program for school leaders who are prepared to coach aspirant female employees in Department schools.
