Welcome to Women in Leadership

The Department of Education in Western Australia has developed the Women in Leadership Action Plan 2011-2014 (Action Plan).  This Plan specifically addresses the under representation of women employees at senior levels and targets the development of leadership capabilities for female employees of the Department.

The Action Plan is a specific commitment within the Department's Equity and Diversity Management Plan 2011-2014. The Plan will guide, influence and support this commitment.

The Senior School Leadership Program is a professional learning program focusing on developing the leadership skills of female school leaders to achieve more senior leadership positions. The program is conducted annually with an alternate primary or secondary school leadership focus.
