Welcome to the User Choice Website
This website explains User Choice in Western Australia and provides information to employers, apprentices, trainees and Registered Training Organisations (RTOs).
What is User Choice?
User Choice is the name used throughout Australia for the system that allows "users" (apprentices, trainees and employers) to select the Registered Training Provider (RTO) of their choice to deliver apprenticeship or traineeship training.
User Choice aims to improve the relevance and responsiveness of the training system by giving users choice about where, when and how their training is delivered.
Users negotiate with an RTO of their choice to deliver training to achieve a nationally recognised apprenticeship or traineeship qualification.
