Graded Performance Assessment in a Competency Based Environment - An Environmental Scan

The purpose of this paper is to determine the extent to which the Western Australian model for grading performance is both appropriate and valid. It provides international examples of vocational assessment and illustrates other models being implemented within Australia. The paper considers both the general Australian and more specifically Western Australian contextual environment in which graded performance is being implemented.
