Fees and charges for students undertaking publicly funded vocational education and training (VET) in Western Australia must be charged in accordance with the provisions of the Vocational Education and Training Act 1996 and Vocational Education and Training Regulations 1996.

The VET Fees and Charges in 2008 policy sets out the statutory and provider based fees and charges that apply to training and skills recognition funded by the Western Australian Department of Education and Training (DET) and delivered by Registered Training Organisations from 1 January 2008.  It outlines the procedures governing the administration of these fees and charges.
