Adult Community Education Grants
The aim of the Adult Community Education Grants program is to expand the participation of under represented groups in adult and community education activities. Adult and Community Education (ACE) in Western Australia is community-focused learning delivered through a diverse range of programs and activities. The ACE grants program supports learning activities that are non-accredited and non-formal in nature and which contribute to the development of a person’s skills and knowledge, and encourage social participation.
One-off ACE grants of up to $12,000 are offered on an annual basis. Applicant organisations must be based in Western Australia and be:
- a registered business;
- an incorporated body;
- a Local Government Authority (LGA); or
- a TAFEWA college.
It is anticipated that the next round of ACE grant funding will be advertised in September 2009 for projects to commence in 2010.
