Adult Community Education Grants
The aim of the Adult Community Education Grants program is to expand the participation of under-represented groups in adult community education activities. Adult Community Education is any learning that is non-accredited and occurs in a community setting. It is learning that does not result in a formal qualification under the Australian Qualifications Framework.
One-off ACE grants of up to $8,000 are offered on an annual basis. Applications are invited from:
- Organisations currently offering ACE programs.
- Nominated target group(s) with a capacity to develop and/or deliver ACE programs in response to the needs of their respective communities.
- Other organisations (e.g. community groups, church groups etc) that will work collaboratively with ACE and/or nominated target group organisations to achieve the aims of this funding.
It is anticipated that the next round of ACE grant funding will be advertised in September 2008 for projects to commence in 2009.
