Introduction

Positions that were previously advertised on the Department’s Jobs Online website can now be found on the State Government Job Board – JobsWA. If you are familiar with using the JobsWA website, simply visit jobs.det.wa.edu.au for advertised positions.

As you may be aware principal positions Level 3 to 6 are already advertised through JobsWA. This has now been extended to include head of department, head of learning area, deputy principal and school psychologist vacancies, along with teaching positions in local selection schools.

We have set up a DET Job Board for teaching and school administrator positions within JobsWA which will allow you to search more easily for relevant positions, set up a job seeker account, and store your information to make it easier to apply for multiple positions.

What does this mean for you?

There is very little change in the way you apply for these positions. It’s actually much simpler– just apply online and attach your CV and covering letter.

You can choose to apply directly for a position through JobsWA and/or complete the appropriate application process below to be considered for a range of centrally placed positions.
