Information for Graduate, Fixed Term and Re-entry Teachers

Graduate, fixed term and re-entry teachers are considered for teaching positions in accordance with the Department’s published policies and procedures.

In order to be considered for teaching positions, WACOT registration and a current teacher identity number are essential.

Fixed-term, re-entry and graduate teachers seeking employment with the Department need to:

• submit a Placement Request annually, in order to be considered for central placement positions; or
• apply directly to those local section schools whose vacancies are advertised on the Department's JobsWA.
