SDERA Professional Learning Seminars

Who: School based staff working with Kindergarten to Year 12 students
What:

Are you interested in finding out more about resilience, drug and road safety issues for young people?

Seminars give participants the opportunity to hear a guest speaker present information on resilience, drug education and road safety topics. Resources related to these topics will be showcased. The seminar commences at 4pm with presentations usually finishing around 6.00pm. A complimentary dinner gives participants a chance to network with other professionals.
 

When: 4.00pm—7.30pm

Past presentations have included Alcohol and its impact on young Western Australians; Cannabis: Latest research; Current trends in illicit drug use in Perth and Pharmaceuticals, a Paraplegic Benefit Fund presentation and a seminar on Binge Drinking and Teenagers.

All associated costs including teacher relief are covered by SDERA. Workshops are scheduled at various times throughout the year. To register for a workshop click here.
