Alcohol and Cannabis In Focus

 

Who: Upper Primary and Secondary School Staff
What:  How much do you really know about alcohol and cannabis? Why should we focus on alcohol and cannabis in schools? How can schools work to minimise harm around these drugs?

This workshop provides information on alcohol and cannabis with an opportunity to explore the history, laws and educational opportunities surrounding these drugs. Australian Government resources unpacked at this workshop are Rethinking Drinking and Cannabis and Consequences.

8.15am—3.15pm


A certificate of attendance will be provided on completion of the professional development workshop.


All associated costs including teacher relief are covered by SDERA. Workshops are scheduled at various times throughout the year.
