The REDI (Resilience Education and Drug Information) resources contain helpful information and teaching aids for parents and teachers designed to support with nurturing children’s wellbeing, in particular drug-related harm.
Initial resources were distributed by DEST to every school in Australia during Term 3 2003. If you are interested in obtaining

One and AllOne and All is a drug education resource for middle primary students. It provides an approach that is designed to foster students’ sense of belonging and capacity to engage in meaningful relationships and activities, rather than focusing specifically on drugs. It supports the development of emotional intelligence and social competency. One and All consists of a video and teacher guide for the classroom and a Primary Prevention booklet for school management and staff. |

The Big MoveThe Big Move is a set of classroom resources for upper primary students that will build students' resilience and enhance their own capacities for health and wellbeing, and develop students' knowledge, skills and attitudes to enable informed and health-promoting responses to drug-related information and situations. The Big Move video contains four trigger scenarios to raise discussion about change and peer pressure, particularly around negotiating relationships with friends and family. In this context the issues of alcohol and tobacco are raised in the second and third triggers. A teacher guide and CD-ROM are also included in the kit. |

My TVMy TV is a set of classroom resources for lower secondary students that explore issues of drug use, in particular alcohol, tobacco and cannabis. They also emphasise the development of resilience. Skills addressed include decision-making, self-talk, finding information, being assertive, forming and maintaining relationships, and expressing one's needs and opinions. It includes a video, CD-ROM and teacher guide. |

On the EdgeOn the Edge is a set of classroom resources for upper secondary students. It explores issues of drug use, in particular alcohol, ecstasy and cannabis; and investigate issues around transition from school to beyond school. Skills addressed include decision-making, critical literacy, evaluation and judgment, finding information, being assertive, forming and maintaining relationships, independent thinking, developing a sense of identity, communication and developing coping strategies. |
